Artist Statement
Glass is science starting from grains of sand. It’s beautiful,
magical, colorful and full of surprises.
Being an Oregon Native, loving our state, Oregon inspires
me. I’ve always tried to capture the beautiful colors in flat panel work as “Mother Nature” paints. Making each piece look natural as though you’re there, for years to enjoy.
Doing Tiffany style work, Victorian, abstract or whatever,
each piece is made with love and hope to bring joy to all.
Working with fused glass, the possibilities are endless.
Love the chemistry, magic and reactive nature that happens when heated to high temperature, then cooled slowly.
Only to open the kiln…..and excitement!
Whatever I’m up to, I want to share. So please come join
