Art InArt in the BurbsBurbsSue Woodworth of SusieDesigns writes, "My art has always been about vibrant colors and whimsy. I have painted these hard southern gourds and sealed them for long lasting outdoor birdhouses. Some gourds become delightful English cottages with gardens. Other gourds have an addition of sculpting to them and they become toucans, giraffes puffer or angler fish. Bring them inside for the winter and you will have a bright spot in your garden for years."Shop local and support the arts at "Art in the Burbs" on November 8-9, 10am-5pm at Tigard High School, where funds raised benefit arts programs in our district schools. artintheburbs.org/If you are unable to attend the show this year, we are always accepting direct donations for our grant programs at the-ftts.org/donate. November 8th and 9th at Tigard High School Don't miss this show !Welcome back, Yelena Shabrova Art! "Most of my creations borrow lines, forms, and colors from live sketches, memories, and creatively interpreted reference photographs. My goal is never to copy the reference but to express personal feelings in response to the original subject that is usually related to the natural world. I work mostly in colored pencil, pen and ink, and mixed media, but keep exploring any dry media combining them in the same piece if it looks like a good idea."🌟 Celebrate local art at Art in the Burbs!
