All my life I have been fascinated by nature and its all-encompassing beauty. I feel at peace when I’m out there enjoying the clean air, the earthy scents, and the wealth of diverse creatures that have evolved over time to populate this planet. As an entomologist, I have a particularly soft spot for insects. They are very beautiful organisms that come in many shapes and forms, and exhibit myriad adaptations for survival, which can be both bizarre and wonderfully amazing. I love creating artwork which reflects this fascination with nature and science, while simultaneously maintaining a playfully whimsical attitude. Music is another love of mine, and I enjoy playing the harp, finding a meditative release in its rich melodies. I hope that my artwork may spark an interest within you as well, to take a closer look at the amazing plants, insects, and other animals, and thereby discover that they are truly beautiful and incredible creatures which need to be respected and appreciated.
