I enjoy all kinds of textiles.  I’ve been sewing since I was nine and through extensive training, have learned to design, alter and tailor custom-made clothing including hand-tailored men’s suits.  My favorite creations include wedding dresses, prom dresses and elegant gowns.  As an artist with the Guild, I have a lot of fun making what I refer to as “FUNctional” art using 100% cotton novelty prints that allow people to have a product that expresses themselves.  For example, my microwave products typically have a food-related motif.  My tote bags with novelty prints (cats, dogs, butterflies for example) also feature a pocket with a coordinating charm on the zipper pull.  Novelty prints spark my imagination and I hope they spark yours too!
