Julio Rocha

My Biography I born in Chile 1944. I graduated from Army School in 1963 as Armored Cavalier Lieutenant but I retired 6 years after because I was hired by Esso Chile to work in Human Resources. I married with Maria Cristina Mujica and we had 3 childrens. We inmigrated to USA in 1979 . I worked in Metropolitan Transit Autority in differents positions and also as part time in import and export business. With my wife educated plenty our 3 children until they became College graduated. I retired in 2002 and dedicated my time enterily to my hidden love ART entering Ventura County Galleries in California.where I exhibited on various occasions but my wife and I decided to return to our home country in 2005. Our 3 children by then established professionals remained in the U,S, setting in the state of Oregon. After my wife passed away in 2024 I decided to return to the U.S. to settle near by childrens where I am now trying to reconnect with art. Statement I, now paint and create replicas. seeking to express what I see and how I see it. I create an IMPERFECT Art using what I have at hand…paper…glue…sand…sticks…balsa wood ,,,, and no measures I am only inspired by the beauty of the reality my eyes see. Julio G. Rocha
