Jude Welter

I have been a working artist for many years. I was able to run a successful gallery and restaurant in an historic building in the Canemah district south of Oregon City for 8 years. It was a wonderful learning experience to work with art patrons face-to-face and also to consign many other artists.

Teaching through the county community education programs has also given me great opportunities to view the creative process through a beginning painter’s eyes. I worked with the program for over 35 years. Arts Cabin workshops at Mt. Hood-Government Camp were also a wonderful way to guide beginning painters.

I have a studio which has been featured in many Open Studio tours over the years.
