Jen Lyons

ARTIST BIO
Jen Lyons is a mixed media artist based in
West Linn, Oregon, with roots in East
Tennessee. She and her husband of 30+ years
have three adult children and one grandson.
For more than three decades, Jen has explored
her creativity through jewelry, illustration,
and, most recently, acrylic painting in mixed
media. Her work has been featured in art
shows, festivals, and city exhibits across the
PNW. She is also a member of the Three Rivers
Artist Guild and a Coordinator for the Oregon
City Open Studios Tour. To her, art goes beyond
the visual. It is a tool for self-discovery and
meaningful connection. Her work resonates
with those seeking nostalgia and meaning,
offering moments of joy that create space for
reflection, self-connection, and shared
experience.
ARTIST STATEMENT
My creative process is rooted in curiosity, color, and the simple joy of making. By using
acrylics, ink, paper, oil pastels and more, each composition reflects layers of exploration
inspired by nostalgia and everyday moments that carry personal meaning.
I believe art should bring a sense of happiness and ease into the spaces we live in. My
work is meant to feel approachable and uplifting, offering moments of joy and discovery that continue to reveal themselves over time. Each piece is created with the hope that it becomes part of someone’s daily life. Something to return to, live with, and enjoy.
