Fran Bozarth

Artist Statement:My artwork has been described as joyful and serene – and it is. I work in a folk art style, incorporating watercolor and mixed media. I seem to be obsessed with teacups these days, sometimes brimming with unusual things. There is sometimes a very small person in my paintings. I see myself, and all humans, as being a relatively small part of the greater whole. We are part of this world, not separate. My characters choose to pause, taking in the amazing settings in which they find themselves and if they must do anything to it, it is to send out love and joy.I am also developing as a botanical artist. Yet to come….Making this art gives me great joy, and a sense of serenity. May it do the same for you.
