Studio at Burlwood (Susan Olson)
My Dad was a fine artist and I grew up at his elbow. He encouraged me to explore various mediums and techniques. Inspired by him and years as an artist and graphic designer, I create 3D mixed media art, primarily on up-cycled vintage boxes, wood “wall sticks”, cube puzzles and other interactive art. I enjoy incorporating my whimsical style and love for nature and vibrant color combinations. I also take a divergence to 2D art from time to time, usually in the form of greeting cards. I live near Sandy, Oregon, on five acres surrounded by old-growth trees and nature’s beauty.
