Julie S Mantis

Through my oil paintings, I focus on capturing the beauty of everyday life and the natural world. My pieces are primarily influenced by my travels and personal experiences, reflecting the places and moments that have left a strong impression on me. I love finding the quiet, often overlooked beauty in the world and sharing that with others, hoping it encourages them to slow down and appreciate the world around them.

I recently relocated to Clackamas County, a place that has long inspired me during visits to see my son in Willamette Valley. The peaceful landscapes and natural charm of the area have been captured over the years in a number of my paintings. I look forward continued inspiration as a full time resident.

My work has been shown in Laguna Beach at Laguna Art Gallery, The Grace Galleries, and Las Laguna Art Gallery, as well as in juried exhibitions where my paintings have received multiple awards and recognitions.
